I like Mitsubishi’s (iRobot) ideas for the future in interior car design, but I know from recent experience none of this will be available to Europe or Canada, specifically any country that promotes safe driving…. yeah, yeah I know “Boring gimmie gadgets!”
I’m as nerdy as the next guy, but anyone learning for a licence these days in Western Canada especially can’t even have a MP3 player let alone any of these gadgets in the same vehicle as them for at least 3 years, so says the law. From what I’ve heard this will soon apply to people in the UK and other countries within the Commonwealth, and whose to know who else will be restricted by this law in 10 years time as the video suggests, when these gadgets will be mainstreamed.
But i suppose realistically speaking, Misubishi’s ideas probably won’t even leave the concept floor, whose to know what the future may bring…
